Cleanest cabins I've ever stayed in, the hotel rooms are even better, they recently remodeled and updated them with fireplaces. I highly recommend this place!!!
Great resort on a beautiful lake. The owners are wonderful to work with and are always making improvements. I'd come back again for sure!
One thing I want to point out is the stock image of the 2-story motel with lights on, is not what the motel looks like. It is a one-story motel with 4 rooms.(I'm sure not being deceptive, just pointing out the have motel type lodging) The owner Randy and he's son are very nice. They are new owners and have made some wonderful updates in the motel rooms; carpet, paint, stone fireplace and flooring. (we stayed in 5, 6, 7). They also added a vacation home rental (2016) for reunions and larger families. They are currently working on an additional vacation home rental below the office towards the lake. Grounds are kept up very nice and the beach/lake were great. They had a bonfire both nights while the son played his guitar. I would have given the resort a 5, but they don’t mention the great amenities they have on the website. It is has basic information which is great, but for marketing purposes they should showcase those amenities. Also, I had reached out via their info@ email address regarding their pet policy and did not get a response back at all.
This motel has cabins and rooms for rent at the best prices you can ask for. The owners are fantastic and you get a cozy cabin thirty feet from the lake. I could not ask for a better experience.
Loved the fireplace in the room! Nice view of the lake. Comfortable beds. A pleasant stay.
